♥ atheist nga ba talaga ako?!?!?!..
ung lesson namin ngaun sa cle, eto:
SIX BRIEF DESCRIPTIONS OF MAN BY DIFFERENT PHILOSOPHIES
#1: "i cannot live locked up inside myself. i must be open to the world and those around me. i must be meditative so that other people and the forces found in the universe can flow through me so that i can overcome all illusion about myself and the world and thus discover an ultimate reality."
#2: "i'm here for one purpose: to get as much "gusto" out of life as i can. pain and suffering are evils that must be avoided at all costs. the main thing in life is to always feel good."
#3: "my purpose in life is to work for the glorification of the group. the individual has no worth as such. i'm like a cog in a big machine as i submit my efforts to the larger efforts of the state."
#4: "i must do whatever i can to increase my own 'freedom.' freedom means doing what i want to do. 'hell is other people.' what is good is that which furthers my interests."
#5: "i have worth. i must strive to live a life of loving service for my fellowmen, all of whom in the last analysis are my brothers and sisters. life has a final meaning in which resides outside of me, that is, in God, and in my relationship to Jesus Christ."
#6: "in the light of death, life has no real meaning. it is a joke -- 'the tale of an idiot signifying nothing.' "
aun.. eh pero bago kami magsimula ng lesson tungkol dun, pinagawan kami ni sir mark ng reflection paper.. pipili kami ng isa dun tas parang ieexplain mo kung bakit ikaw un.. di nya muna diniscuss ung lesson na un kasi para di daw namin "alam" kung anung isususlat namin.. matindi ung title: Gnothi Seauton (know thyself)
well, di naman matindi ung title kasi ibang language sya. matindi sya kasi para sakin, malalim un.. basta un na un.. haha.. tas binalik na samin ung reflection paper namin tas naglesson na rin.. tinanung ni sir kung sinu-sino ung pumili ng 1 or 2 or 3.. blah3.. tas sinabi na nya ung meanings/explanations nun..
#1: oriental view of man
-common to buddhists
-submissive sila sa mas powerful sa kanila
-naniniwala sila na predestined ang lahat ng bagay kaya wala na silang magagawa tungkol dun
#2: playboy/girl view of life
-followers ng hedonism (ung parang "have fun today for we die tomorrow")
-para sa kanila, pleasure is most important
-mahilig sa advertisements
-they view others as objects
-no commitment.. kasi para sa kanila, all things are temporary..
#3: communistic view of life
-karl marx->founder ng communism
-"the individual has no worth at all"
-no individual rights
-utilitarianism
-vox populi est vox Dei (ewan ko kung ano 'to, kinopya ko lang 'to sa blackboard)
-dapat nakakacontribute ka sa society, kasi kung hindi, para sa kanila wala ka nang kwenta
#4: individualistic view of man
-atheistic existentialism daw
-si jean-paul sartre nagsimula nun
-"i am alone"->iniisip daw nila
-they separate themselves from reality
-kahit daw mukha silang masaya dahil sa mga bagay na meron sila, they are LONELY daw
-gusto nila na ung ideal things ung meron sila.. ideal mom, ideal gf/bf, ideal face, ideal friends, etc etc..
-materialistic
-bakit sila naging "atheists"? eh kasi diba gusto nila ung "ideal thingies" na para bang gusto nila na perfect un.. eh wala namang taong perfect kaya iisipin nilang perfect sila.. ung "i'm the greatest, God is not the greatest." at saka nag-iisip din sila ng mga "bakit nagkakagulo/maraming kasamaan/calamities kung may diyos talaga?"
-magiging baliw daw
-suicidal
#5: christian view
-di samin inexplain ni sir. meh binigay sya na "activity" samin para dun. actually ndi un activity. tatlo grade dun, sa IP, reflection at quiz din ata un. so kelangan ko talaga gawin un para ndi bumaba grade ko T.T
#6: nihilistic view of life
-it comes from "nihilo"->means "nothing"
-suicidal (ung mga emo daw)
-para sa kanila, maeaningless ang lahat ng bagay
-narrow- and close-minded na mga tao
*nahulaan nyo na ung sakin? oo, ung 4th ung sakin T.T
*meh mga lilinawin lang ako.. unang-una, DI AKO ATHEIST.. pangalawa, oo na, gusto ko lahat ng meron ako ung ideal talaga pero ndi naman ibig sabihin nun na ndi ako kuntento sa kung anung meron ako.. ung iba talaga gusto kong maging mas ideal talaga pero may few people na masaya na ako sa kung ano at sino sila.. pangatlo, kahit napakataas ng pride ko, DI KO PO INIISIP NA PERFECT AKO.. gusto ko nga rin ng ideal self eh.. haha.. pang-apat, di naman ako materialistic eh.. minsan medyo lang, pero nako, minsan lang un.. panlima, oo, mababaliw ako kung di ko makukuha ang isang bagay na inaasam ko.. secret ko nalang un.. pang-anim, HINDI AKO SUICIDAL..
